1. Safer night driving. An anti-reflective coating reduces the halo effect around lights that interferes with clear vision.

2. Crisper vision. Day or night, objects seen through anti-reflective coatings are crisper, making it easier to read and to see objects clearly.

3. Less eye fatigue. The eyes have to work harder to discern objects through glare and reflections. AR coatings on the front of glasses reduce glare and halos around lights.  Anti-reflective coatings on the inside of glasses prevent distracting reflections of lights behind the wearer.

4. Better appearance. When people can see your eyes instead of the reflection of a light or window, you look better and they are more comfortable talking with you.

The purpose of your eyeglasses is to help you see better.  Considering all the ways in which an anti-reflective coating helps your glasses achieve that goal, I highly recommend including this feature.
